The client is The Coaching Innovation Programme at Southampton Solent University and is a big part of the Sports Coaching and Development Undergraduate course here at Solent.
The project allows students to work with industry partners (i.e Southampton football club, Southampton City Council, Eastleigh Council etc.) to design and deliver their own sport for development project within and around the Southampton Community. Every year, 20+ CIP projects are create that focus on a variety of community issues such as anti social behaviour, social isolation, physical inactivity etc., contributing significantly to the sport and physical activity landscape within Southampton.

The client is looking to create a new video that captures a CIP in action, with interviews from our industry partners, staff and students about what the CIP is and the work that it is going on.

This video would be to update the current video that they have for the CIP (filmed in 2012) and would follow the same format:

The CIP student project that will be used in the video is called ‘Walk Hard, Play Hard’ which delivers walking football sessions to men aged 50+ in the local community. It runs every Friday and a provisional date for FRIDAY 16th FEBRUARY has been set for filming this project in action and to also capture the interview footage.
The project is delivered in Eastleigh at Fleming Park and transport will be sorted for this. Some interviews will be filmed on location and others in the Spark building at Solent.
